Lindsey Dority LAc. chose to study Chinese Medicine at the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine (OCOM) in Portland, OR after receiving acupuncture herself over a 3-year period. She was drawn to specialize in this field after experiencing first hand how acupuncture and Chinese herbs can impact the whole body. As a Board Certified Acupuncturist, Lindsey enjoys treating the patient's whole family, including children. In addition, she effectively treats women's health, pain management, headaches/migraines, daily effects of stress on the body, immune and gastrointestinal health, and many other ailments.
As part of her training at OCOM, Lindsey completed medical externships at a diverse mix of clinics in Portland, Oregon. She provided acupuncture to homeless youth and low-income adults at Outside In, to older adults at the Hollywood Senior Center, to adults in an out-patient drug and alcohol recovery center called Old Town Clinic, and at OCOM's satellite clinic Hollywood Square Clinic.
Lindsey has studied Japanese Acupuncture, Richard Tan-Style, and Traditional Chinese Medicine. She is passionate about helping people attain an inner balance and ultimately achieve optimal health.
