Dr. Ananda is a general practitioner with a special focus on adrenal fatigue, allergy desensitization, autoimmune diseases, chronic fatigue syndrome, detoxification and cleansing, diabetes, gastrointestinal disorders, hormone imbalance, hypertension, lyme disease, musculoskeletal disorders, nutrition and weight loss and women's health.
Dr. Ananda works with you to:
1. Identify and remove the causes of dis-ease (imbalance),
2. Establish a healthy regimen with nutritional and lifestyle counseling,
3. Stimulate self healing mechanisms with homeopathic medicine and hydrotherapy,
4. Support weakened or damaged systems with intravenous therapy, botanical medicine, nutritional supplements and bio-identical hormones, and
5. Correct structural integrity with spinal manipulation and structural integration.
As a part of the six principles of naturopathic medicine Dr. Ananda is committed to educating her patients. She believes in the importance of achieving a true understanding within the individual about why their imbalance exists and how their treatment plan will restore balance in health. Dr. Ananda provides free health presentations as part of her commitment to education and is available to speak to your community on a wide variety of topics. .
Dr. Ananda Stiegler graduated with honors in 1999 from California State University, Long Beach with a degree in Dietetics and Nutrition. While receiving her bachelor's degree, she worked as a nutritional and neutraceutical consultant. She continued her studies at the National College of Naturopathic Medicine in Portland, Oregon, where she received a doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine in 2005. During her doctoral studies, she taught gynecological screening examinations and protocols. In 2006, Dr. Ananda learned to speak Spanish while working with a team of medical doctors at a hospital in Nicaragua integrating naturopathic and allopathic medicine. Dr. Ananda holds advanced certifications in Intravenous Therapy, Heavy Metal Chelation Therapy, Herbal Medicine, Structural Integration, Bowen Therapy and has received advanced training in the treatment of Lyme Disease and associated co-infections.
